It's been a while and there is a lot to catch up on! We have mostly been doing lots of summer things, camping BBQ'ing, and hanging out. I am getting kind of sick of the heat though, I am so ready for it to be fall. My favorite time of the year!

We went to the Jack Johnson concert on Friday the 13th, and it was so fun! We had such a good time we are looking into going and seeing him again in October in either Washington or Arizona. We're pretty big fans :)

We are so close to getting the basement finished too! We just got carpet a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. I want it throughout the rest of our house. I am pretty sure Dakota about had a heart attack when I told him I already wanted new carpet! Just some things left to finish up in the bathroom and the house will be 100% finished. However, there is always something to do. Dakota's latest project is re-doing the lights in the kitchen....it never ends! But the guest rooms are ready, so bring on the guests!

A Special Shout Out!

I don't get near enough opportunities to say this, so I wanted to get it out there. Happy Father's Day to my amazing father! Though our time here one earth together was short, I know you are with me and I know I will see you again. You have always been my hero, hope to make you proud. Love you dad!

A Long Time Coming!

I have been meaning to post lately about what we have been doing around the house (since it seems like all we do is yard work these days!) but I am just now getting around to it. I guess Cache Valley finally decided it was going to be summer, so I am pretty excited about that!

We have been camping quite a bit lately-which I absolutley love! Its the best to be outdoors amongst nature! We were also lucky enough to go to Yellowstone National Park this last weekend. Good times with good friends- couldn't ask for more- except maybe a bear sighting! We really saw NO wildlife. Ok, there was some-the usual bison and elk-oh yeah and a coyote....sigh. Any ways, my brother saw TWO wolves in the park. I heart wolves! I think they are by far one of the coolest animals.

So back to another work week I suppose. So not looking forward to it!

Blog Goal

So...I am new to this blog stuff. We have a lot going on in life-just not so sure other people will find it worthy of reading! The first goal is down-setting up a blog. The next goal-having something worth while to write about. Until then. I will sit back, relax and let the world bring me something marvelous to share!

Oh and I should probably try to get some followers-goal set!
